St Georges Day Feast ( April 23rd )

To Trafalgar Square for St George Feast with Meetup group off of train at Leicester Square then work out the way to the Chandos in St Martins Lane,  I found the pub with help of go
ogle maps then waited around till another three people out of the 16 who said they were coming turned up, After introductions off first to st Martins in the Fields and the rather Grotesque carving of a baby on top of a marble block, Then into church with its rather austere interior and window behind altar that was reminiscent of the Scream by Munch I took a photo but not brilliant! So off the Square past a group of buskers and Yodas doing their thing, the area was crowded but not packed lots of Red and White of course with knights girls on stilts waving the cross of St George of course. The "group" split up to walk around sample the food and drink from the stalls scattered around and take lots of photos naturally, I made my way back to groups meeting place a lot more people in the Square now. We had a chat about the afternoon then split up i stayed for another walk around and some food by now a disco Grampa had taken over the musical entertainment! i walked back to St Martins Lane going to Leicester Square station, got lost of course but it gave me a chance to photo some of the street life and people. I ended up at Seven Dials and the Ivy then past through to Cambridge Circus and Charing Cross road recognised where i was turn left down to the station and the tube home. Now for the Photos ;-)  Chris Lee  PS the photos are in reverse order from the text not sure how that happened ;-(
